Every few weeks, the UNA team dreams up a number of special pairings that we haven't released and save for you, our esteemed guests.
After you buy a ticket we send you the secret recipes along with a grocery list and detailed videos, so you can make these delicious dishes at home.
Now you get to have some fun in your kitchen and then join us to explore what your creation sounds like. We'll take you through the pairings and give you the tools to fully understand the music no matter your previous experience.
These events allow you to get creative from home and understand food and music in a new light. We'd encourage you to check out the testimonial section below to hear what our audience has to say!

We hope you'll explore with us!

UNA Virtual Dinner Party

Sunday June 28th | 7:00 pm BDT, PDT and EDT (three events)   $10
Conversation with Michail Thompson and Hayden Victor

An exploration of music through the lens of food. Cook along with our in depth tutorials or bring some take out as we give you a tour through the world of classical music. Find out the exact menu and pairings by reserving your seat!

This weekend we are celebrating the work of black composer, Samuel Coleridge-Taylor. In solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement we will be donating a portion of our profits to support the efforts of the AACM.

"The AACM is a collective of black musicians and composers dedicated to nurturing, performing, and recording serious, original music. This collective of dynamic and visionary artists formed the AACM to meet their emergent needs to expose and showcase their original compositions and to create an outlet for the development and performance of their music."

We hope you'll join us in supporting and learning about some amazing music.

The Courses:

A quick and simple side salad to start off the night. This won't be paired with music but will act as a nice introduction to the event.

Recipe:

In this course we'll dive into the music of Dvorak, shining a light on his life, his music, and the flavors in his music that pair perfectly with UNA's chicken soup. More info on this pairing can be found in the relevant pairing page linked below.

Take me there

We were really fortunate to have Professor Alex Stalarow set up a really interesting tasting adventure which uses a Rhone Valley GSM to experiment with Faure's First Piano Quartet. We'll learn about this piece and then explore the third movement using either the wine he suggested (Sun Worshiper) or any Rhone Valley GSM you can find. Feel free to read about the pairing using the link below, but keep in mind that we will only be listening to the third movement and drinking the Rhone.

Take me there

These conversations will be light but informative; meant for everyone no matter of musical or culinary skill to gain new appreciation for both the music and the food. We are really excited to connect with you even if it must be digitally, and are looking forward to answering any and all questions related to these pairings or UNA in general. See you soon!
